I've just had a message from
Central on high, that mother is with them way up in the sky
As I read the message my heart thrills with joy for she loved me dearly her wandering boy
The message came special it came from on high,
The message came special came right from the sky
It said your dear mother will meet you some day
If you read your holy bible, believe it and pray
I know I'll be lonely but she used to say
Just trust in the saviour, be watchful and pray
And I know that mother, god bless her tonight,
Is praying up yonder that I'll be all right
A long time ago my dear mother would pray that
God keep her dear one from going astray
And now I am thankful that he answers prayer for some day
I'll meet my dear mother up there.
Remember your bible the message was clear,
With no bad connections like we have down here
When I go to meet her we'll walk hand in hand and be safe at home in that dear
Promised land.
