Only God Knows

Wheel

It's obvious now
There is no doubt
What the story's all about
That every day we pay the price
With a little sacrifice
We fight the lion in the pit
And put to death (if we fail) we must admit
We'll put our faith in nothingness
Until we (will) breathe our final breath

'Cause only God will judge upon,
What we have been, (we have become)
And if we'll keep our "hearts of stone",
We finally will leave alone

The preacher on the tv-screen
Is nothing but a death machine
Feeding moslems [sic], christians and jew
With his devious point of view
The man who speaks the morning news,
Is pre-programmed to twist the truth
Promising the world we all desire
(But every he still fuels the fire!)

They're praying to an unseen God
And feed themselves upon the weak
But if they hurt you with their lies
Should we turn another cheek?

I thought the dark millennium is ending
Another worse one has began
I gaze upon this heap of fragments
And cry upon the damage done

Now I could crack a whip upon me
For I believed the lies I've heard
How could we trust this hell made angel
For now to me seems so absurd
