Tragederia

Into Oblivion

Tragederia

Mighty thunder's incarnate
A flash of lightning splits the sky
King of kings, the Father
Master of Olympus, heed my call
Taste the rage of thunder
Bow down to the lightning storm
Son of Kronos, I will arise

On this fateful day
The clash of gods and titans
Among fire and lightning
Live for battle, die for glory

Oh, how sweet death smells
In this bloody Armageddon
Into the stream we all fall
Lifeless, never to escape our doom
Soon you will die by my blade
The warriors cry, it is I
Kneel before the God of War

No one can escape me
I stand with abhorred shears
To cut down every being
Destiny and fate controlled
Of man or God alike
Absolute ruler of fate
The flux of death
I am forever, Atropos

Now they are forgotten
Where demons and guardians
Drift with gleaming stars
Hell is burning red
A monument to the fallen
A nexus to our doom

On this fateful day
The clash of gods and titans
Among fire and lightning
Wither away, far into oblivion

These mindless reactions to the vast unknown
Where do we come from, where do we go
In a thousand years we might know it all
Maybe we'll drift further from the truth
In this time it would seem reason should prevail
To shed its light upon these dead, silent stones
Yet our insecurities still linger on that mountain
Fear and hate still dictates the poetry of life

On this fateful day
The clash of gods and titans
Among fire and lightning
Wither away, far into oblivion
