Thought Chamber

A Mind Beyond

Thought Chamber

Was brought into a world of reason
A thousand questions
In days ahead; the coming season
He'd rise above them

But now - an ever twisting mindscape
Spiralling through time
A captive of delusion was locked inside

Yet in those early days of yearning
A magic would show
A power years beyond our learning
For all things must grow

And through his painful pride
A light would shine inside
A man is sometimes born
When all his world is torn

A silent solitude, an empty space in obstructed view

He fell into a scream / another world it seemed
Through eyes of twisted rage
He'd rise above the shredded page

A hardened soul would bring his vision into a clear view
A sacrificial lone decision,
But one that rang true

And now - a never ending grandscape
Inhabited his mind of all who he'd inspired

And through his painful pride
A light would shine inside
A man is sometimes born
When all his world is torn

A life is spent embraced
Yet seems as though a waste
And only when it's gone
We speak of minds beyond…
