Riding The Storm

Samuel J

Staring across this sea
The wind touching me
I feel that it has been with you
In the storm of your words I drown
Here I’m standing now
Watch waves as they rise and fall

As the sea rises higher we will be riding the storm
As the waves rise higher we will be riding the storm
All in the same sea holding on all learning from the storm of life that’s just gone

We are all changing now like the waves and tide
Life’s storm’s that we have to survive
That which just brings us down we must understand
So we learn to ride the storm

Man I don’t know where you come from when nature speaks you have got to listen
There is no point dividing there is no exclusions only all together we find solution
In the same sea holding on waves break higher we got to stay strong
Everybody moves and journeys on moving on
As I reach to my people now riding the storm

Stand your ground it’s the new storm shaking foundations of your very own world
Hurled to new heights by the changes that come so we stand ever ready from waves you can’t run
Mistaken if you think you can escape them challenges of life we must ride when breaking
Making you balanced with the courage to go, appreciate the life and the path of your own

I remember those that we have lost along the way, the very same sea’s still riding these days
I’m amazed at the poverty child that stands tall, laughing in the rain as his whole world falls
His philosophy follow your heart and listen properly
Deep within the fear of life you find harmony
Inspired by the heroes of life that ride waves
Without her by my side, I know I’ll still find a way

I watch as she drifts away on this stormy day
How long would we wait to break
And so to the ends, of this earth I home
I learn not to ride the storm

Man I don’t know where you come from when nature speaks you have got to listen
There is no point dividing there is no exclusions only all together we find solution
In the same sea holding on waves break higher we got to stay strong
Everybody moves and journeys on moving on
As I reach to my people now riding the storm
