On this page you will find our complementary privacy policies to our Terms of Use which are applied to all our products -Recifra- including their versions of desktop and mobile website and its applications. We present what data we store, how we collect it, with whom they are shared and what is done to protect them.

What are personal data?

Personal data is information related to the natural person identified or identifiable. As an example, we can consider as personal data the name, e-mail address, telephone and tax identifier. If it is also possible to identify a natural person through data such as racial origin or ethnicity, religion, data referring to health or sexual orientation, these also become personal data sensitive and should receive the same attention as others.

How and what data do we collect from you?

So that you have access to personalized content and a more efficiently on our websites and apps, we collect and store the following data:

  • Through your registration in Recifra: for you to have an account in any of our products you need to create your username in Recifra using your email and a password. When registering, we ask for your name and email.
     
  • Navigation Data: Also we collect your data when you (i) use our products; (ii) fills out forms, makes comments, participates in promotions, polls, online events, sweepstakes, performs searches and more interactions on our products; and (iii) access our products from your computer, cell phone, smart TV and/or other access device. The data collected from your access to the Services includes: your IP address; information from your access device (such as unit identifier, of advertising, name and type of operating system); your internet connection information; kind of your browser and the pages and content you access on our products. Also, when you interact with certain products, we may request access to your contacts, your photo gallery, photos on networks social networks, camera and microphone of your access device, as well as your contact list. In such situations, your prior authorization will always be requested for the collection of said data.
     
  • Data obtained from third parties: We collect data about you from publicly available sources, service providers and partners that provide their data in accordance with applicable law.
     
  • Through the use of cookies: cookies are small text files sent and stored on your computer. With them we managed recognize, monitor and store your navigation as a user on the Internet, enabling us to offer personalized content according to your tastes and offer advertisements that are most fit your profile. In general, we use cookies to: (i) deliver personalized content and allow access to your registered information identifying your user; (ii) measure the audience of our products; (iii) offer advertising according to the contents that most interest you in the Internet.

While using our websites, applications and features owned by us, We use the registration data provided for the following purposes:

  • Data access request personal data: This right allows you to request and receive a copy of the personal data that is processed by Recife. To help your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify the your identity, such as the use of your password and user ID before we grant you access to your personal data.
     
  • Request for data correction incomplete, inaccurate or outdated: This right allows you, at any time, to request the correction and/or rectification of personal data, if you identify that some of them are incorrect.
     
  • Anonymization request, blocking or deletion of personal data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed in violation of legislation: This right allows requesting the anonymization, blocking or deletion of personal data from our database. All personal data collected will be anonymised, blocked or removed from the servers when so requested or when they are no longer needed or relevant to the provision of the services, unless there is any other reason for maintaining them, as a possible need to retain personal data for the fulfillment of a legal obligation to protection of rights of Recife. It is important to note that changes can take up to 7 days to be completely effected due to technical issues.
     
  • Right not to provide or withdraw consent at any time: You have the right not to provide or withdraw your consent, however, this will not affect the legality of any treatment previously carried out. If you choose not to provide or withdraw your consent, there is a possibility that we may not be able to provide you with certain products and services. And if that's the case, we'll let you know.

For targeting advertising according to your profile as long as you have the use of cookies allowed in your browser.

To (i) provide cloud services for our platform; (ii) host the products and content; and (iii) provide technical and operational support for the products. In these circumstances, your data will be stored and processed on third-party platforms, which may be located in United States or Brazil.

Analytics

To carry out analysis of audience, reach and relevance of our products.

Business Partners

To improve our services and expand/develop new business in order to improve your product experience and deliver even higher quality content.

Media providers payment

To process payments in case of contracting a paid service or product. In that case we will share your card number, bank and billing details, contact information with the institutions responsible for this processing. We do not store any bank details on our products, we just forward them to make the purchase.

Government Authorities (Police authorities, public entities or any other governmental organization)

To comply with legal, judicial and administrative determinations and also comply with letters from competent authorities. And also to take or provoke legal, judicial and administrative actions aimed at defending our rights provided for in this Privacy Policy and in our Terms of Use.

How do we protect this data?

Our measures to preserve your data against access, use, alteration, disclosure or unauthorized destruction include the physical and logical protection of assets, encrypted communications, access management, adherence to secure software development and internal compliance policies that insert security into the lifecycle of our services.

All of these policies are periodically reviewed to ensure they are secure and up-to-date with regard to the various threats that frequently appear on the internet. Anyway, it's not possible to ensure that our systems are completely tamper-proof. That's why we have teams prepared to act promptly in case of any incident.

You may ask Recifra, at any time, for the definitive deletion of your personal data that have been provided in the registration. To do so, just send an email to contact@recifra.com requesting. In In any case, the hypotheses of mandatory custody of records provided for in the regulamentation law or aggregated and non-identifiable data, for statistical purposes.

Recifra applications use YouTube API services. Our applications comply with YouTube's Terms of Use as well as Google's Privacy Policy.
