Morpheus' Dreams

What Dreams May Come?

Morpheus' Dreams

Lying awake and covered by stars
I can imagine a kingdom not far
My secret garden!
“Just close your eyes…
And here we are”
The land of the Arden

Mystical places and magical beings
I just can’t wait for all of those things
In my secret garden
Miracles, Fantasies… is what
Morpheus Brings
The land of the hidden

And if I not sleep
Then I’ll maybe weep
“You, which I receive
Will now fall asleep”

Now fly over the land
And feel the wind between your hands
Hold on the rain that looms
And feed the rivers of the Moon
I might become the night

Black crow will guide you to the gates
Will leave you on a place of a mystical race
“In thy garden, Fiddler?”
Guardians will ask you
The wisdom of ages
“The land of the riddler”

Librarian will show you the book of the sage
The world of the fables, the spell of the mage
“My secret lore”
The land of Arcadia
Revealed on this pages
Forevermore

Now fly over the land
And feel the wind between your hands
Hold on the rain that looms
And feed the rivers of the Moon

I might become the night
That lights the path of life

And if I awake
Then what will I make?
“You, which I embrace
Won’t forget this place”

Now fly over the land
And feel the wind between your hands
Hold on the rain that looms
And feed the rivers of the Moon

Now why won’t you stand
Above the stars until the end?
And ask for me to do
To turn this dream a deja-vu

I might become the light
That shines and transcends the life
