Once and For All

He came to this earth sent down from above 
To demonstrate god's true love 
To show us how to live 

Born into sin and yet he never did 
Came to man to bridge the gap 
He took the stripes upon his back 

When he did what he did it was all for me 
He took the nails that set me free and I am 
I am free 
I never understood how it could be 
Jesus died to rescue me and I am so glad 

It took so long for my eyes to see 
To answer the call 
The chains of sin forever have been broken
