Color Outside The Lines

Jason Harwell

Crazy, that's what it must seem like
Lately, i've been thinking twice
Maybe there's more to this life
Maybe... so let's go tonight
I can't explain what i know
But you're calling my name
So i'll go
My heart knows the way
That will lead back home

I'm not about to change
What and who i am
Just to make a dime
I'll color outside the lines

Okay, we are here at breakfast
We made it at least to texas
Our waitress has up and left us
She hates us, i guess, so let's just
Throw up a wave out the window
On to the next state as fast as we go
We're testing our faith
With each and every mile

So, what will be our fate?
Who am i to say?
It's just a waste of time
I'm not about to change
What and who i am
Just to make a dime
I'll color outside the lines

And so we go on our way
To turn around, we'd still be changed
And i can't wait to see what's down this road
