the earth and the egotism to
posses the power without fear
Mans capacity for destruction
global disregard for this earth
a living being which sustains us
pollution a gripping reality
one which is killing us both
physically and spiritually
but so slowly it goes unnoticed
out of sight
out of mind
seemingly clear air fills our lungs
water from industrial waste that appears clear
imbalance caused by careless
slaughter of rain forests and their inhabitants
mankind is capable of killing the planet
and is selfishly, blindly doing so.
