It was a summer day in the middle of week
I took my girlfriend and we went down to the beach
We got the surfboards, beer and a stereo
I turned it on and the beach boys were on the radio
But suddenly something was in that wave
A shark came and took my girlfriend away
It was a nightmare! Oh God! What can I say?

Everybody was having fun on the beach
We were holding hands floating in the sea
All at once I felt my life disappear
It took my baby away from me
She's somewhere deep down in the sea

Only her surfboard is left with me
