Firth Of Damnation

Firth Of Damnation

The sunset has pierced the sky
As the death of love had dawned on me
Left to sift in the soot of disgust
The silent serenity caught thee in the acts of lust

This evil succubus shall call to me
Shall I dine with thee tonight?
Shall I forever cast away the daylight?
Sheltering us in dreams

I reminisce in the time of their disease
Keeping close the knife that raped the holy flesh
Take away all the hope they lust to suppress
Sleeping deep in the sickness that I breathe

Till morning's death could do away with thee
But then the daylight arose to replenish me
And there stood a goddess
As beautiful as my eyes had ever seen

To cast away the demons
To spells of the evil banshees
