Return to the Castle

Faustcoven

Again it haunts my dreams
This desolate foreboding place
Something dwells there,
hidden from the eyes of men
And only I hear its call

Black towering spires
Spiked massive gates rusted shut
In the dephts of this hellish tomb
Something stirs from unholy slumber

And I, The last of my kin
Must return to the castle...
...of the ancient tyrant

Thus my journey of madness begins
I have seen in dreams,
the path I must follow
For through my veins it floats,
thick and nobel
The blood of this land,
of secrets and shadows

I stand before the gates,
reading the inscription:
"Enter not, lest madness devour thee"
Smiling I enter the great hall,
breaking ages of silence
I approach the throne of bones,
ancient monument of pain

As I mount the throne,
I feel a rush of hideous air
I remember now who I once was
From the dephts of my mind he ascends
Now the tyrant sits on his throne again
