As heaven gazed upon an earth so impure
Divinity was ever tempted to allure
Then I saw her standing there
A maiden so fair
Enslaved by eternity
A fate she could not forbear
Solace she was for my eyes
Ameliorating life, dispelling every cry
A divine offering from heaven sent
To this world she was lent
Forged from perfection
A clandestine soul forever kept
Through her eyes
Solace arrives
Hear the cries
As we fight for our lives
An answer she was to my prayers
Serenity to dispel all fears
Cast from above
Like an angelic dove
Shielding misfortune
And teaching me to love
A tear rushed forth from her eye
For emotion she did not defy
In crystal form it struck the ground
Shattering with an ethereal sound
Though once imprisoned
Affliction then learned to fly
Through her eyes
Solace arrives
Hear the cries
