Disentropy

The hate and bestiality arising in the hearts
of those ordinary people was what tore us apart
Now I'm leading a life of endless grief
Fire roared, stole my love and my last beliefs

How can it be that people get so cruel and hateful
Perhaps some hidden fear of not being faithful
to the teachings of the preaching, the avaricious ones
They who feed on others credulity, they the shepherding ones

Caught in a trap, of dark lies and accusations
Pure as the pale moonrise, always good intentions
Now inside my head, the moon is rising red
Increasing dread, how can she be dead?

Evil
Witchery
Accused of wicked heresy
Innocent
Burning
The sight is returning

Now a grey rain's falling, beginning to cover the remains of the deed: the still glowing ashes
Night closes in, I'm left alone with my pondering, wondering why
it can be, that no one can see, the truth before their eyes just accepting the lies

Caught in a trap, of dark lies and accusations
Pure as the pale moonrise, always good intentions
Now inside my head, the moon is rising red
Increasing dread, how can she be dead?

Evil
Witchery
Accused of wicked heresy
Innocent
Burning
The sight is returning

Maybe again, will we be together
Maybe again, if after death there is more
Maybe again, or maybe never
but as you are not here I have nothing to live for
