I took her to the Garden where I guess they grow the olives
She wore a tighter skirt than any I had seen in college
She said I love to smoke and drink while cursing like a sailor
I asked her where she got her mouth and if she had a tailor

She said, "I am an apple would you care to take a bite."
Politely I refused and said, "I'm looking for a lady."
So she slapped me in my face and said: "Boy you must be crazy."

Different from the ones before

"I hope she comes my way."
Well I'm looking for a girl who's virtuous
'Cause God laid it on my heart to search for this
So I open up the Word to the book of Proverbs
The 31st chapter tells me all about her
Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain
A woman who fears the Lord, she ain't playin'
Hear what I'm saying 'cause I'm saying it clearly
She's the kinda girl I gots to have near me

And not a girlie of the worl'y that's shady
But the kinda girl you meet behind the doors of the church
You see, God will bring her to me so I don't have to search
Too hard, I've been scarred by the ones of the past

When I finally meet her

By fulfilling all her needs

Outra noite eu conheci uma garota e ela parecia ser bem legal

Então ela me deu um tapa na minha cara e disse: "Garoto, você ser estar louco"
Ela é aquele tipo de garota
Diferente das anteriores
Porque eu sei que ela ama o Senhor
Ela é aquele tipo de garota
Virtuosa, em todos os sentidos
O tipo de garota que te faz dizer:
"Eu espero que ela venha em meu caminho."
Bem, eu estou procurando uma garota que é virtuosa
Porque Deus colocou em meu coração para procurar essa
Então eu abri a Palavra no livro de Provérbios
O capítulo 31 me diz tudo sobre ela
Enganosa é a graça e a beleza é vã
Uma mulher que teme ao Senhor, ela não está brincando
Ouça o que estou dizendo porque eu estou dizendo isso claramente
Ela é o tipo de garota que eu tenho de ter perto de mim

Bem, eu estou procurando um compromisso com uma senhorita
E não com uma garota mundana que é enganosa
Mas o tipo de garota que você encontra por trás das portas da igreja
Você vê, Deus vai trazê-la para mim então eu não tenho que buscá-la

Então coloque as fofocas de lado
Um pouco mais do que um rolo no feno, com certeza
