is my mind playing tricks on me 
or did i just see a flicker of love in your eyes
is my imagination getting away from me

when our eyes met i felt a mutual understanding
somehow we both knew it was our moment of truth
when our fantasies collided with reality 
a shared epiphany if you will

even if it didn't make sense
