Living On The Edge Time

Christopher Anton

Staring through the windows it's an ordinary life
A painted house, another dream, a momentary strife
Looking backward isn't easy staring at the walls
I've stood right here a thousand times but nothing comes at all

When will you be forever now
Echoes in the hall
I'm waiting for the past to call
But they don't come at all
A picture of the world we knew
Not knowing what we'd find
I'm standing on this line

Living on the edge of time!

These are the streets I used to run where someone knew my name
The thoughts come back to cover me but nothing's quite the same
It's quiet and it's restless out here staring at the sea
These memories are antidotes of “how it used to be”

When will you be forever now
Echoes in the hall
I'm waiting for the past to call
But they don't come at all
A picture of the world we knew
Not knowing what we'd find
I'm standing on this line

Living on the edge of time!

We don't like parties but come down please
We have open doors for what you need
The music might just fit the song
You know the words it won't last long
I've waited out here all these years
But now I'm moving past the tears this time

This time, this time, this time...

Living on the edge of time!
