Solitude

Chamber

Solitude, I've feared
and adored,
welcomed as my attendant,
let myself drown,
and create out of it

Your tears like blades,
my heart in thousand pieces,
my blood shall heal your wounds,
though I've feared this day
I know it was to come
now, that I'm gone.

Never to old to rebel
never to old to desire
never afraid of solitude
the lone wolf's still biting

I don't want to be a part of you!
I don't want you to be a part of my life!

I've got no need
of your entertainment
neither is your success-society,
your house, your boat, your car
your wife, lover, business
of any interest or value to me

Is this solitude self-determined
or simply a result
of my mean character
or my incompatibility
with this brave new world?

Never to old to rebel
never to old to desire
never afraid of solitude
the lone wolf's still biting

I don't want to be a part of you!
I don't want you to be a part of my life!
