Calling Blue Skies

When Everything Falls

Calling Blue Skies

I saw the garden wilt to black
Then turn opposite of that
As the northern climate falls
So do these walls
We're so happy to be dying
What else is there to look forward to
I sang a song into my pillow
Hoping it would know
But it was soaked in what I hated the most
Tears make the very worst host
Now the leaves are shaking
But not quite as much as I am
Sway like the wind is waves of water
Kill this noise
And let the silence dry it up
Never to fall again
On the world that used to mean everything
