The Forest

Apocryphal

The Forest
The delight of pain stays forever
The delight of pain and self-extermination

I see as the blooding Sun is going away
And the Sun-scorched trees of the old forest
The tops of which are spreading the wasting
In the deep silence of inaccassible woods
Inaccassible woods

I feel the song of the dark night
Which the cry of wild birds is cutting
I am the prince of dark thick forest
I am the lord of the dark night

The dark forest is the feeling of inexplicable fear
The pleasure of which is the pleasant pain

I am the master of fear
I am the prince of the dark thick forest
Of all animals and birds living in them
I am the lord of the dark night
And the black mystery
I am the keeper of the spirits
And ancient historys
I am the lord of the dark old forest
