I just want to be a little chicken
Safe and warm in my nest like a kitten
Sometimes the world can be so mean
Sometimes I’m overwhelmed and no one listens to me

I just want to be a little duck
'Cus when your feet are webbed the world doesn’t suck
I’d just, swim around all day
Lately, I’ve been gettin’ good at not givin’ a fuck

Lately, I’ve been thinkin’ I might fly away
Into the big clouds to a brighter day
I know I don’t have wings like the angels do
But, feathers are just feathers when you’re tryin’ to move

Lately, I’ve been thinkin’ I might shoot up my school
These country kids are dumb and they can be so cruel
My Pop has a shotgun and it's not locked in a box
But, I prefer an AK that just never stops
