Wings (Fin)

Equidistant

Wide plains before me
Dead stream lies naked
Swimming with the clouds
And the colours fade
Nor the Pearly Gates
Neither shores of Hell
Can match the splendour
Of these sleeping landscapes

Woebegone and shrouded in dust
A sultry forge of equilibrium lost
Ripe emblem of my earth, my blood
That assuage the vastness in times
Endearing embrace of a mother sublime
A derelict soul in catharsis entwined

No sign of sun´s halo - Just freezing moon
The horns of old crescent - Pierce through my hearth
Thus increasing null coldness - For warmth I cry
To touch God

Alas, I gather up the dusk of arts
A wanton son willing to depart
To omnipresence under vestal skies
But flesh is weak and tongue is false
For ev´ry triumph I must endorse
Equal taint for weary virtues gone

The weight of my heart - Relinquish & rise
Upwards and onwards - Perennial youth
Romantic desires - My seething thirst
To touch God

Don´t weep my precious lovelorn child we will rejoice, solemnly
Together, forever
Forsooth we are of equal strain I am in thee and you are me
Together, forever
So let all grains run through your limbs they seem so countless, but all is one
In thee my friend, you´ll see, farewell...

Sin is a doorway
To touch God
A velvet embrace
Equidistant.
