Drowning Land

somewhere far out
cannot be reached
by mankind

forever it has been
like life on the edge
when our time comes
it will all fall apart

for a thousand years
we were around 
and kept the peace
that we had found

the seas of time 
are taking our land
piece by piece
as it falls apart

driven by the force 
of a higher god
we are only actors
in his divine dream

heading toward our future 
the millennium is soon to come
