So many people died in The Deathly Hallows
I think I may have cried through like the last two hundred pages
I followed their lives like they were my friends
And now they're all gone and I just can't comprehend
Oh why did all of you have to die?
This is an ode to those who died
I couldn't remember them all so I had to look online
And though it was a bloodbath, each death played its part
In the story that came from J.K.'s heart
We lost Professor Lupin and we lost Colin Creevy
We lost Professor Snape, don't forget about Mad-Eye Moody
We lost Nymphadora and we lost Fred Weasley
We lost Harry's owl and our dear, dear Dobby
And that doesn't even include all the other random people who died
Oh that was a list of those who died
Don't know if that was all but at least I tried

Oh I even cried at the deaths of the bad guys
Bellatrix, Nagini, but not Crabbe cuz he's really dumb
Oh Voldemort was evil but if he hadn't died
The story would still be going on
