Once generated
Tortures the host
Creative impulse
Won't be contained
Means of expression

A labored birth
There is a need for words
A fledgling thought
Fading to gray
Older extremities
Rust and decay
The urgency
To concentrate
Surely the muses will
No longer wait
A vain attempt
Try to define
Inspiration divine

Losing our freewill we're to blame
For our unwillingness to change
Halfway over the edge of me

Rally masses to get involved
In hope humanity will evolve
