In the gymnasium
where girls complain about the boy with the concrete shoes
if they only knew that what he's been dwelling on is:
'who will laugh the last?'
And in our neighborhood
the dogs bark from the hallucinogenic bark
what we will encounter next is
'all too much, too soon'
And so we keep searching for something to play
I'm sure it's not only for children that way
Do you remember the time
when the woman you loved was beginning to bore you to death?
Do you move on really fast
or spend your time recalling every past?
As a Canadian in baseball shorts making black & white movie-shorts
Will it be understood you tried to
'live your life out loud' !?
And so we keep searching for something to play
I'm sure it's not only for children that way

Stop messing up my plans for my wedding day
