Under a White Star

Rusty Anderson

Once there was a mannequin
Staring out he window
Watching the butterfly living for today
Flying by aliens stranded on a planet
Where there were unwelcome
Where they were adored

The chairman flew a private airplane
Smoking his cigar
A pregnant girl was driving in her car
Under a white star
Under a white star

"the time has comer for horseplay"
The mannequin exclaimed
"show me how to dance and fly,
How to play your game"
The wild thing was speechless
Then she did reply
Be content with what you have
Now i must say goodbye

A wealthy gang perpetuated
Fear and warfare from afar
While people talked about it in a bar
Under a white star
Under a white star
Under a white star

Under a white star
Under a white star
Under a white star
Under a white star
