Slowly i went by the path Grown wild in grass Amid the leafless trees And fallen leaves Between the trees seemed crosses And deserted gravemounds No where was a living soul I went alone by my way Low across the grey sky Rowed leaden clouds At times the wind dizzled me Cold rain to face From the brinks of the path Thick fog rose slowly It was the sole who bore Me company in my way All around me Was the endless silence That rang so loud as A choir of angels of death I would have wanted To cry to hear my voice But managed only Slightly open my mouth So went alone i By my path Straining eyes in dusk Too see it will take where But nothing in particular I did manage to notice But in the end of the path Was an open grave
