World Becomes Wide

Mary Mcbride

On the edge of Black Lake you can see where we are
Rusty tin houses and some broken down cars
You can spot it it in the morning when the sun does rise
A train sometime stops there, but never on time

CHORUS:
There is a way in one instant your whole world can change
In just one instant things can never be the same
There is a way in one instant the world becomes wide
In one lonely instant you've run out of time

When you are a child things are what they seem
Skies are all blue and the trees are all green
When you are a child your day sare pure gold
When you are a child you'll never grow old

CHORUS

In the middle of summer people hang clothes outside
They got big-time worries and a whole lot of time
You can hear them telling stories all throughout the day
When the sun starts to set, all their worries will fade.
