I watched you grow your plagues 
like my beard of disease 
red, hot, glistening 
hairy eradicator 

Bone-ash eclipse 
born from the giants' wind 
utter darkness fed the growth 
indomitable lashes 

I wore thee with pride 
bounded by root

while tornados feasted
