Sometimes self-awareness can be a blessing At other times it can come across as a curse One thing it surely does is make you do confessing To yourself and anyone else shielding the truth Don't be scared, or limit your space Seek with opened eyes Don't be afraid, or stare yourself blind Assurance will arise You must feel the need to be enlightened While all the meaning seems to fade away Trusting only your judgement when frightened Relying on it blindly, wrong decisions are made How far you take this How deep can you go Until all else is forgotten Then what will you have to show Life worth for righteousness A great deal of despair Very true to it's mission But unwilling to bear You must feel the need to be enlightened While all the meaning seems to fade away No room for indulgence No deviation to spare All is as it should be The choice has been made There are no second thoughts The self-knowledge becomes confidence Total awareness of destination The revealing itself becomes evidence That guides you off any aberration
