When The Fog Lifts

Jazz Passengers

Once in a while when the sky is covered the world seems like a lost place
Even most experienced birds get pulled off course to nowhere

Out in this fog ships dare not move
Men are colliding

Out in this fog somebody cries
Hope is in hiding

I knew a man who could barely move
He'd wake himself in a cold sweat

Out in this fog dreams are a ghost noone believes in

Out in this fog everything's grey
Looks are deceiving

Idle away your hours
The time really doesn't care
Precious life is out there

Out in this fog gravity pulls
Pulling you under

Out in this fog men overboard soon starts to wonder

Once in a while when the sky is clear you can't recall just what happened here
Everything comes into view and life begins again

When the fog lifts...
