In My Darkest Hour

James Byrd

Here I stand naked before God and Man
Unlocking sacred dorors in my search to understand
Now full of wisdom my innocence lost
I found what I wanted but what has it cost¨
All my truth is shattered on the ground
Dream to show my way...

In my darkest hour I struggle to be free
Light is all around me but I'm too blind to see

The things I learned were too big for me
Lost old friends for new ones straight-jacket company
My bitter white pills could never stop the rush
The things I see now seem more than too much
All my dreams are broken on the ground
My world is fallen down...

In my darkest hour love is all around me
So strong that I cower to learn humility

Will the madness end... have I lost my way?
What hurts you makes you stronger'
- Still waiting for the day
For every soldier there's a weak and bended knee
Black star shine on me...

In my darkest hour I struggle to be free
The light is all around me but I'm too blind to see
In my darkest hour love is all around me
So strong I cower to learn humility
