Half-handed Cloud

You Wouldn't Embarrass Me, Would You?

Half-handed Cloud

Instruct me in the way You've chosen for me
For my eyes always stare upon You
Lord, my God
My feet in the snare
Aware that You'd release me
But if not then it's rare
I'm embarrassed of Your name

Feet growing lame
You wouldn't embarrass me would you
I've thrown-in my lot

I'm calling and please don't remain silent
Or I'll be like those who go down into the pit
Don't drag me there
With those who speak cordially with their neighbors
But harbor malice in their hearts
And show no regard
For what you have completed

If that's where I'm bound
You'll tear me down
And never build me up again
To be a ghost town
With nothing else around
