I turned my thoughts to consider Wisdom, madness and folly The wise and the fool, who am I? What do I gain by being wise? The same fate get us all Death doesn't ask for wisdom All come from dust And to dust all return Like the fool, the wise too must die With wisdom comes much sorrow The more knowledge the more grief To apply myself to wisdom Is a chasing after wind I saw that wisdom is better than folly As light is better than darkness The wise man has eyes in his head The fool walks in darkness
