I Thought I Knew You

From This Day

This has nothing to do with morals or lifestyle. I'm not trying to criticize what you think is worthwhile. You don't have to agree with what I think or say. But I have to explain what I feel inside. Why?: Why did it change? Was it in vain? As you jump right into this game. A game that I refuse to change. Fake, you're all so fake, your choice to make, and yet you choose to be the same. And I refuse to play this game. Change the way you are to try to get a bit closer. Change your friends and blowing coke with all the other posers. Trying to be cool but I can see right through you. Try to make them like you in all that you do. Laugh at the blood of the innocent, Dance on the graves of the innocent. Caught in the crossfire. Is this all really worth it, to deny what's inside? Just to gain acceptance to what you know are lies. So you sell yourself out, ignore by getting high. Surrounded now by fake friends you have died.
