An Angel Fell

No matter how hard he tried to resist, 
no matter how strong his ties to his family,
the angel fell. He had been deceived into 
selling his soul for a dream trapped inside 
the cage of time. The hourglass is now empty 
and the silver wings rust, leaving their ashes on the ground.
