Postcard To Rosie

There's a young lady called Rosie;
She is my West Country girl.
I promised her that no matter
Where I should go in the world,
I'd send a postcard to her... 

I'll send a postcard from Paris,
Paraguay, Prague and Peru
I'd even send one from Liverpool
If Rosie wanted me to...
If Baghdad or Beirut won't do... 

Most of the time I remember,
But once in a while I forget.
