Return to isolation

With only a few glimpses of freedom 
I return a final time 
What purpose does this serve 
What good will come from it 

You blessed me with pity 
Oh how can I repay 
What will it take to make 
A purpose out of nothing 

Even though you know how I could never change 
For what I never would 
You bind me up with only echoes 
To keep me company 

I can't understand what they say 
But soon I'll be locked away
