In Dreams

Diego Rotondo

I dreamt that you came running
From distance to these days

The dogs and birds were happy
To see my grinning face

The river was an ocean
Night managed to be day

The flowers took off from the ground and flew
Flew with the winds

And as the road moves on beneath my feet
I thought, why not just fly?
To see those mountains
That cheer me from Highlands

There’re dreams that don't want to wake up
In dreams I can free my mind
Get rid of false walls and see what distance hides

Submerged under an ocean
Yeah, I don’t need to breath

Here everyone is happy when it rains
And I must confess

That things don't last forever
I've learned that the hard way

I met a girl who loved my fairy tales
But she just woke up

And what if it's all over?
And green grass is dry and gray

And there's no crowd to watch your lonely scene, again

That me doesn't want to wake up
That’s me flying around by the times
To see you somehow and keep you in mi life
