Mexico

Dan Rosenblum

She buys a jacket cause' it's cold where she comes from,
sips her drink and looks around
A silver lining dusts all the buildings in this grey town
She rides a cannon ball down to the ocean,
hopes these choices are better than the last
I am completely capitvated by her oblivion and past

I said 'hello',
She said 'hey man lets go,
to a place thats draped in much more grace,
meet me in Mexico"

Well, I'm tired of the lights,
hiding what I can't see at night.
Breathing all this air,
thats barely there,
she offers me a light.

I said 'hello',
she said 'hey man lets go,
to a place thats draped in much more grace,
come down to Mexico"

So I'll go downAnd things will slow down
With the lights turned low
Far from all this snowWith a girl I like
I can strum all night
Far from city lights we'll be bathed in night,
oh baby baby baby,
I'll goMexico
