Eulogy For An Angel Passed

Cold By Winter

She'll sleep on the stars
under the burning tails of comets
Her eyes fused to my own
Through blur of ashened skin
Words tore right through my heart
Glass words bled a shooting star
Her ashes back to the earth
Like waves braking on the rocks

Light the sky with your heart though ceased its beating,
At night the ocean and the sky blend.

At night the ocean and the sky blend
An audible pain
And there you stand
Betrayed by skin deep within her
Refusal to function nigth
And each breathe begged for a glimpse of uncoloured eyes
To orbit one more cycle severed the cord that night
Watching the wound menstruate
And swallow her life

At night the sky blends into the ocean,
Scatter the ashes in remembrance.
Float a trail of wanton regret caressing the rocks with each wave
For every stolen embrace every moment
Kindred flesh to commemorate in that alive
Standing still in memory of you

Watching the wound menstruateher resistance
Drained her of determination
While life rendered her blind
And my eyes are down turned betray the need to cry
Tears for the sunrise ignore her plea for one more day
Sever the cord, kill the feeling, know thy pain

Light the sky with your heart, breathe the stars, your
Fire and blood will burn in his veins
The labour of our discontent has no grave it will not lie
Regret is overcome as is grief
The cycle meets it's point of origin
And there you smile...
