Why I carry on
You’re the calming voice inside
You’re the comfort of my life
You are my foundation
So I won’t give up
Sometimes it’s not easy here, but I need to carry on
It’s so complicated God, I admit that I am tired and I want to stop
I am restless and I'm fearful
The burden at times is so heavy
And hefty the cross that I carry
Even if I have to crawl I won’t ever turn back
Please stay here with me
And never leave
You are my relief God
You’re all that I need
Always close to me so I can carry on
You’re my motivation every day so I never give up
Jesus you’re the reason in every season for me not to stop

The strength and the courage that I need when I feel like giving up
If I'm here today it’s because of Grace that’s brought me this far
In the darkest of night always there by my side always caring for me
Where else could I go if you’re all that I have and I will ever need
