Everyone has their own personal traumas
Trying to find a solution
Everyone plays out their own little dramas
Reaching for their own conclusion
Take a step back and gaze at yourself
And ask is this where we should be
We're looking to find some answer or sign
For life is the great mystery
Maybe the answer's in me and faith is the key
Love is the lock, won't you open and see
Are we just puppets of some master plan
Some pawns for the fates to enjoy
Or does everything simply happen by chance
As we dance ever close to the void
Take a step back and gaze at yourself
And ask is this where we should be
We're looking to find some answer or sign
For life is the great mystery
And maybe the answer's in me, and faith is the key
Love is the lock, won't you open and see
Touch me and feel me and know I'm alive
Consume me with all of your fire
From cradle to grave, we all are but slaves
To our pleasures, our pains, our desires
Take a step back and gaze at yourself
And ask is this where we should be
We're looking to find some answer or sign
For life is the great mystery
Maybe the answers in me, and faith is the key
Love is the lock, won't you open and see
God's grace we'll receive
