Canyon Mitchell

Little House On The Prairie

Canyon Mitchell

She said her goodbye
She made it real clear
There's no love left
Around here anywhere
She turned those promises
Into beautiful lies
Along with the last three years of my life

I'm going to hit the highway
I'm going to hit it real hard
Till there ain't nothing left
But the Moon and stars
There's got to be somewhere
Somewhere that I can breath
A place that I can just be just be me

I'll buy a little house on the prairie
Or a cabin up in the hills
Maybe a shack down by the river
Where peace is all I'll feel
This traffics just got me bothered
And these lights are too dam bright
I've got to get out of this town tonight

I'm going to point my headlights
Toward my hometown
It's a whole lot like
What I'm needing right now
It's way out west
But always worth the go
Now if I can only just find that road

Mabye someday I'll be back
Maybe I wont the only thing I know
Is it's time to go?
