Tom: F E|E|E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------||| Don't Come Back Knockin' - Buddy Holly E|E|E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------||| Written by: Buddy Holly/Sue Parrish Early version of the song, recorded in Wichita Falls, TX, December 7, 1955 Now on: "Down the Line - Rarities [CD 1]" Tabbed by: maguri Tuning: Standard This is what I could figure out. The chords are of course not always plain major chords, sometimes you have to add the 7 or 6. The solos are not exactly what Holly plays but it's at least close. I can't really make up my mind whether the guitar on the recording is finger-picked or not. In this case some notes add themselves naturally to the main line I tabbed below. Even though there are some imperfections here and there, I'm a little dissatisfied with bar 10 of G O 1. I hear two notes played simultaneously there but I can't figure out how to play them. Must be some special Rockabilly voicing that I just don't know. Do you? Comments and corrections are highly welcome!
