I stole a dead man's tie, i saw it hanging in his closet,
It wasn't quite my style, but he no longer had to wear it.
He lived a quiet life to the obvious(?) home in tv,
And he loved his lovely tie and i know he'd love to see me wear it.
Now there's a tie in my every-day feature,
I wanna wear it almost every day.
It's just a tie, so what does it matter,

I wore my dead man's tie to everybody's so fancy schmancy,
I love my dead man's tie, i know i'll wear it all my life.
I sold my dead man's tie, a tough decision, but it was worth it,
I know he wouldn't mind, even though i didn't know him.
