In a world full of mechanical wonder Fascinated by the speed and Technology I am nothing more than A simple wooden boat, I don't belong here Among the wheels and spinning gears I have spent my whole existence among Those who know where they are going And exactly where they have been I felt I was meant for something more Yet here is where I sit I have spent my life dreaming of setting sail Open water to see something more than land The wind blows, brings me back Whispering you'll never move, ill say this, I know what water feels like Because I have been teased by the rain Creating puddles. But move me, it does not. So I give up and Take down my sail, to live my invisible existence How I long to leave the shore and be tossed by the waves. See the moonlight on its surface how beautiful that would be.
